Bungendore Fine Art Gallery, August 2019
When eight artists came to Bungendore to set up Bungendore Fine Art many years ago – they thought for the first exhibition it would be good to have a show with Bungendore as the subject of the paintings. Fourteen years on and they are doing it all again.
A Brush with Bungendore celebrates all that is Bungendore and its surrounds. Seven artists have applied their variety of styles, mediums and focus.
Their subjects include rural and bush landscapes, wind turbines, historic features of the village and local activities and events such as the Mudchooks, Anzac Day and the steam trains. Their work also depicts the birdlife and plants of this area.
The artists are known to the regular visitors to the gallery and this focus on Bungendore showcases individual talents and interests.
