ACT Indigenous artist Krystal Hurst is one of 68 finalists in the 2019 Telstra National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Awards (NATSIAA), Australia’s most illustrious and long standing Indigenous art awards.
The finalists were chosen from 280 entries from regional and urban areas across Australia. Twenty-four of the finalists are from the Northern Territory, 20 from Western Australia, 18 from South Australia and the remainder from Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and the ACT.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony at Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory’s Bullocky Point facility on Friday 9 August 2019.
The exhibition, curated by Luke Scholes continues until Sunday 3 November 2019
