Tuggeranong Arts Centre until 28 July 2018
With a long career in photojournalism and working on government and other branding projects, Martin Ollman takes time out in this exhibition to draw on his vast collection of images made for image sake.
Abstractions is a collection of works that invite the viewer to look and look again –taken from a variety of perspectives which include from hot air balloon and drone vantage points. Some of these images are macro with details of patterning brought large. Others like the Swing photograph look from a distance but invite us to see more than the first glance reveals.
Martin will conduct a pair of workshops on the last day of the exhibition, one free and one paid. Details about this and the exhibition will be found at tuggeranong.arts.com
